Instead of leaving old journal entries forgotten in static archives, Injourn analyzes your daily notes, feelings, and activity marks at the end of each month to write your month back to you in narrative, chapter-style prose ("Your Month in Words").

At the close of every month, Injourn analyzes the emotions, notes, and activity tags you logged throughout the past 30 days. It generates a personalized narrative reflection detailing your personal growth, emotional trajectory, and lived milestones.

The AI operates strictly on your own authored entries without hallucinating outside data or storing your personal notes on remote servers.

Yes. Your journal is stored on your device, and the database is encrypted at rest with military-grade AES-256-GCM encryption.

There are no mandatory accounts, no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK, and we do not operate servers that store your private thoughts.

Some things do leave your device, and only when you use the feature that needs them: AI actions send that entry's text to Google Gemini; free-tier ads use your device's advertising ID, and Premium removes them; purchases go through Google Play and RevenueCat; and cloud backup uploads an encrypted archive to your own Google Drive. Our privacy policy lists every one.

Yes. Injourn offers an optional decentralized cloud backup that connects directly to your private Google Drive appDataFolder. Your backup archive is encrypted on your device before upload, meaning only your phone and Google account hold the key.

Injourn features animated hand-crafted theme worlds—including Cozy Cat, Wise Panda, Playful Puppy, Starry Cosmos, Forest, Ocean, and Rose Gold. Each world changes lighting dynamically with your real-world local clock (Morning sunlight, Sunset golden hour, and Night starry cosmos).

Injourn rewards consistent writing habits. You earn in-app Seeds simply by maintaining daily writing streaks and completing monthly reflections. Seeds can be redeemed in the in-app Store to unlock living animated worlds, custom fonts, and sticker packs without forced subscriptions.

Unlike Day One, Injourn generates monthly narrative synthesis stories and dynamic animated worlds. Unlike DailyBean, Injourn supports rich writing, voice dictation, and deep emotional pattern analytics. Unlike Finch, Injourn focuses on elegant writing and mindful reflection without juvenile pet management.

Yes. Injourn does not require an active internet connection to write entries, track moods, view calendar matrices, or explore trends. Everything is stored and processed locally on your device.

Your journal is yours to keep. Cloud backup packages your entries, moods and media into an encrypted archive stored in your own Google Drive, which only you can reach and which you can delete at any time.

A direct file export to JSON or PDF is not available in this version.
