These terms cover your use of the Injourn app. By using Injourn you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains what the app stores and where.

Who can use Injourn

Injourn is not intended for children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Injourn only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for keeping your device secure; the app can be locked behind your device's fingerprint or face unlock in Settings > Privacy.

Your journal is yours

You own everything you write, photograph and record in Injourn. We claim no ownership of it and no licence to use it. We do not operate servers that store your journal content, so there is nothing of your writing for us to publish, sell, or hand to anyone else.

You are responsible for what you choose to write and for keeping your own copies. Cloud backup to your own Google Drive is available in Settings > Backup & Data and is off until you turn it on.

AI features

Injourn includes optional AI features, including monthly reflection synthesis. These features are creative writing and reflective aids: they are not medical advice, therapy, legal advice, or financial advice, and should not be used as a substitute for professional care.

Seeds and unlocks

Injourn uses Seeds — an in-app reward earned through consistent writing streaks — to unlock cosmetic themes, fonts, and sticker packs. Seeds are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be redeemed for real money.
